Day Two

I am a former Army sergeant who has spent more than 7000 hours in the classroom learning my Army job. Even after all that time I still learned more from working in the field hands on then I learned from the classroom. The information that our trainers are giving us really good information. I've learned alot in the two days of training so far. With so many different avenues of approach the only thing that can really limit me are time, and my own skills. So the more I know the more I can do and the more I can help. That at least that is what I tell myself. Windows movie maker is by no means my favorite program, but it is easy to use and easy to get. Not to mention free. I think I may take some free time and see if I can find a better program than Windows movie maker.

First day impressions

There is no mistaking the seriousness of this program. The information is important and will allow for greater flexibility and classroom involvement. I feel that everyone is also taking this to heart. When I look at the group during the training they seem interested. The programs that we use are using are accessible for everyone. This is going to be a challenge. I love challenges. The harder the better. Now It’s up to me to maintain and expand the knowledge that I already have, with these trainings.

First Day: The Life of The TeachUp! intern

Martin:

I really want to see more engineering technology in the classroom. It might seem hard or complicated, but creating something from an idea is human nature. When I was young student I wished that I could get my hands on the type of technology students today take for granted. With this training and exposure to different avenues I expect to be able to better understand the technological needs of my area and how I can supply for those needs. I know it will not be easy but I look forward to the task.

Phallon

My goal is to introduce a more way for the teachers to dictate their lesson to the students using technology, other than the white board. I think the students will be more eager to learn off some what a power point presentation.


Shanice

I expect to learn about different technology advances that teachers can use inside and outside the classroom. I also expect to teach the teachers as well as the students how they can use different technology. My goals are to help as many teachers i can that need help and to bring different ideas in the classroom.


Tremeris

My goal is to integrate technology, music and education so that it can keep up with the youth. I expect to learn EVERYTHING that Dot USA has to offer so I can implement my plans and give education that push that it needs into the technology field.
